The students will be learning through hands-on experiences, which means putting into action what we learn in class and applying it at home and in our daily lives. They will be working on problem-solving and decision-making skills by working with peers and teachers. They will have the opportunity to communicate and collaborate in groups, which means having supplies that will allow for that. The floor cushions can be used to work in their own space and with comfort. The two chairs will be available for students who need extra movement and can direct their energy. We will be walking around the building to different classrooms to cook, clean, and learn life skills, and the clipboards and cart will help staff and students. Everything on my list is geared toward assisting our students and teachers who work with them.
