The two laptops will require my students access to take Accelerated Reader test each day to reach their quarterly goals, visit websites for enhancement of Reading and Math skills, and to collaborate and access email. The laptops will also give students access to online research for projects at their fingertips. In third grade, students will be introduced to completing research projects in Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies and will need a laptop to search for information. Unlike when using a tablet, my students can utilize the laptops to improve their typing ability for the ACT Aspire using the keyboard.
