The materials donated will allow my students to focus, take breaks, have visuals for calming strategies and reading and math manipulative stuff available for their individual paced learning. All of the above stated ultimately will increase student learning and will allow the teachers to help with their individualized needs. It also gives me access to materials needed to create their visual schedules or aids needed throughout their school day. Learning will take place in both General Education and Resource room settings on a daily basis. Timers will give them both a visual and auditory reminder of task time. The weighted pads will reduce anxiety as will the sand.
