Change classroom photo
Many of our students have not traveled outside of their City (Jersey City). They are required to read one more book before they graduate as a class. We have read The Diary of Anne Frank or Greek Mythology, but they need to be exposed to current events, to current people making a change. They need to read of countries and cultures of Today! They relate to Anne Frank on an age level, but would be able to relate to Malala in reference to the Taliban, words they hear about today. They will also be able to appreciate their freedoms, those they don’t know they have for an education.

About my class
