My students are young bright explorers looking to learn more each day. We are in a low-income neighborhood where almost all of our students receive free lunches. My students all have special needs and would really benefit from any extra help I am able to get for them. Their eligibilities range from autism, Intelectual disabilities, speech or language impairments, and more. A lot of them have limited language which means they are communicating with one to two words, jargon words or by pointing. However, this is just some of the struggles that they face day to day.
