I am in the process of slowly creating a flexible seating environment with varied seat options where my students can discover what works for them. Students need to have options. My students vary in that some like to work laying down, some like to stand, some need to move, and some like to curl up. Desks are only the optimal work space to a portion of students. As I build this collection, there will be workspaces and seating/standing options at multiple levels to enhance students focus and minimize movement distractions. The best part is that these options will be available for years of children to enjoy and explore.
