Independence and critical thinking skills are a big part of our classroom. We teach these skills and practice them throughout the day. The students truly enjoy learning they can do things on their own. Through learning with puzzles and building materials, the students will create a unique set of critical thinking strategies. In a world that wants to do everything for them, we give them a safe space to make mistakes and figure things out. Puzzles and building materials are a great way the students are able to learn without realizing they are learning. We will use these items for independent stations, group lessons, and ways to take crucial data on living skills to help them grow. These puzzles and building toys will be used to teaching critical life skills.
