Our school has taken so many strides in the raising our status in the local community in the last few years, I can't say how proud I am to be associated with this school and these students. We still face the funding shortages of most small schools. Money simply has to go to the traditional classrooms. Building a PE program that is going to teach the value of staying healthy and building lifetime habits and skills to do so has proven difficult. I would like to start building a cache of equipment with which students can test to keep track of their best performances as they learn these life skills. Our community deals with preventable conditions such as obesity and the complications associated with it. We have begun to build these things, but the rate at which we can accumulate them is slow and causes incomplete data. A vertical jump tester is something that we currently don't have and jump height is a data category which is widely used in many fitness tests. An iPad pro with it's higher quality camera will allow for true movement breakdown, and allow for an easier way to keep track of many students performances. We truly need to breed a love of being active and in good cardiovascular health. In order to do this, the tools in this proposal are items we truly need.
