The students I teach come from families where most parents have not earned a college degree. They are beautiful, hard-working families and their children are well-mannered and work hard to get an education that will take them to college. Many onlookers are surprised at the demographics of my school - the building is new, yet we deal with age-old educational issues. I just want to give my students as many open doors as possible, so I work hard to get them to things they don't believe they can do when we start. The pride they feel when they do what they weren't sure was possible is the reward I get. I love my job!
