My students are hard working, but many times feel beat down with math. They have rarely felt success with anything math related, and when they do, they are very proud of themselves (as am I). They have me for a 2nd math class, and we focus on areas that they struggle. It is very demanding of them, but they rise to the occasion and work hard and do their very best.
