I teach two 5th grade classes Reading and Language Arts. My students come from varied economic backgrounds including high poverty. My students come to me on anywhere from a 1st grade reading level to a 12th grade reading level. Several students in my class need the opportunity to get up and move to another part of the room to help them focus on what they are reading. My goal is to ensure that every student grows and learns to appreciate books.
