Let's read to learn! In Kindergarten, we focus a whole nine weeks on information writing! When we study the metamorphosis of butterflies, my students will be able to learn facts about butterflies from the nonfiction book and see the process in action in our butterfly garden this Spring! With these nonfiction books, I would be able to teach my students about their world around them and open their minds to learning and opportunities about things they may have never seen before! I know once my students see these wonderful books, they will become engaged in learning, which will help them become better writers!

About my class
