My middle school students need a 3D printer to take their STEM/Engineering projects to a whole new level. This is my second year teaching STEM at a school with a high free and reduced lunch rate. I hope by having a 3D printer it will inspire them to become the students and people they are capable of being. I hope a 3D printer will help give them the skills they need to be successful in the ever changer world of technology and engineering. I don't expect all of my students to seek out a career in a STEM field but I hope by giving them these experiences I might inspire some to explore a career option they may not know is available to them and that they might really enjoy!
