Early Childhood Literacy is very important to me as a teacher. The past two years in my classroom I have offered my preschoolers a mobile library. Students have library cards and check out books weekly to take home. More than anything the purpose of the library is to get a wide variety of books in the hands of my students. This year I want to offer students flexible seating options to use around the classroom with our regular library. Evidence supports that Early Childhood literacy helps in all domains of child development. Children who have limited experiences with language and literacy will have difficulties learning to read. Please help me put flexible seating options, along with book bags into the hands of my students this year and more years to come. Thank you so much for considering donating to my classroom project. I will launch my classroom library the first full week of October. Thanks again, Kelly Hobbs.
