I am a 5th grade teacher in a small neighborhood K - 5 school. Because our city is a resettlement community, our school population is ever increasing with a very diverse population. Our district and school budgets have been slashed every year which makes it very hard to get the things we need to best educate our children. Donors Choose has been such a wonderful organization that has made up for some of this deficit. We are forever grateful for the work they do to help get the word out about our needs.
