I have a classroom of 16 goofy boys and 6 vibrant girls. My students come from a community where access to books and supplies is often difficult. My students truly enjoy school and they love to talk about things that interest them. One of the class favorites is partner reading. During this time, the students are able to read books together and talk about their favorite ones. Many of these students constantly ask if they could take these books home and read them to their parents. It's incredible watching these beautiful souls grow into such magnificent readers and I hope to see them grow further.

About my class
