Kids need to MOVE! As a 3rd grade teacher, I believe that we as educators should take advantage of opportunities to better our learning environment! Kids do not all learn in the same way. Some like to lay on the floor, some sit at desks, and some need to move! Using stability balls as chairs in the classroom allows for a child's body and brain to become equally engaged at the same time! Sitting on a stability ball encourages you to have better posture and core strength! Children who need to move to learn, are allowed to do so without disrupting the class!
