Having dry erase graphing boards will allow my math mastery students to gain a visual understanding while doing the work themselves instead of simply watching me graph. The more they have access to these supplies including flash cards, review sets, a number line, and batteries to power calculators the more success we will have with growing their comprehension of real world math. The review tools that speak out loud will aid our EL's, dyslexic, and dyscalculia students know what they are seeing and trying to read. Math is essential to everyday life, and in 6th grade the real world uses become more apparent. Things like the calendar and broom will be used to teach kids the importance of taking care of this facility and organizational skills. A clean classroom promotes focus and pride in our school.
