My students are fifth graders who come from a variety of backgrounds. Some come from very supportive families and some come from families that struggle to make ends meet. Some come to class with a lot of life experience and some have never been much further than the apartment they live in. Some find school easy and embrace it and some find it very challenging and avoid it. What's common among all of my students is that they come from a small, close-knit suburban community seeking the best possible education for their children. Having materials that further a good education and excite children help them all to be engaged and successful, no matter their background.
