The 7th-12th graders at Highlander come from all over Rhode Island, but mostly Providence. Our school is a public charter dedicated to personalized and innovative learning. We inherited books from the library of the school housed in our building prior, but many are outdated and in disrepair. My hope is to get our students interested in glancing around the library displays, flipping through magazines, and asking to borrow books. I want them to WANT to read. Engaging, relevant, and appropriate books will go a long way!
