Our third graders will learn map skills, states and capitals, and interesting information about each state. Each child will also practice their cursive writing at home (the most requested skill, from parents AND kids!). The cursive will help them to write their presentations, and onward into the future. They will then each study one state and create a virtual tour of that state, including a (written in cursive) written report about that state and what they learned! Our kiddos love to explore, and this will allow us to see far beyond our own four walls, or even our own community.
