Recently, I have started the Daily 5 reading program. The children are allowed to each choose 5 books for their bins. They enjoy being able to see the book covers, and browse at their own leisure. It will also allow me to organize the books by levels, ensuring each child can read at their own ability. The cart will help my students become more independent readers, and keep my classroom running smoothly. Reading is such an important part of first grade. It is here where they learn to read, so later they can read to learn. Thank you very much!
