I will have 25 iPads in my classroom this year and would like to use the keyboards for students to work on their typing skills, while engaging in fun, technological, learning activities. Technology is being implemented into education more and more every year. This year will be the students' first year taking the State Test, where they will be expected to type several essays on the computer. Without daily typing practice, these students will struggle immensely on this exam, which may interfere with their success. I hope to purchase 25 keyboards for our students to use in the classroom daily. I hope that through the use of these keyboards, students will gain success with typing and become more comfortable with the traditional keyboard. This will help our students to become more confident in their abilities and more successful in their educational endeavors.
