My students are talented and creative and our school displays their amazing artwork. They are enthusiastic and want to learn. My students LOVE to read, but unfortunately they do not have a cozy space in our library where they can enjoy a good book. Most of our students come from a high poverty status, so the districts resources are often very limited. Over 75% of our students receive free or reduced lunch as well as a free breakfast in our district. Many may not eat dinner at home. Our district empowers each student to reach their potential despite these challenges.
