My students are 7th and 8th graders who must prepare for life beyond the classroom and reading is an integral part of that process. These students are motivated to learn despite the numerous challenges they face both in and out of the classroom. I have recently changed my position and have moved from elementary school to middle school and I look forward to leading my students and learning with them throughout the year.
