Students need books that will inspire them, and they need to see themselves in the books they read! This year, I want to incorporate more science and engineering books into read aloud and provide the students with more options to read nonfiction books. Reading about space, technology, inventors, and mistakes that changed the world will help my students realize the sky is the limit! By providing a content-rich selection of books in my classroom library, I hope students will find more things that interest and inspire them and realize how amazing reading can be!
