I would love to incorporate the use of technology in all subject areas to increase their interdisciplinary understanding and help make lessons more clear. My students are wonderful, bright eyed, creative 8 year-olds. This is magical age! Their abilities and creativity abound and should not be squandered. However, because they have so much inventiveness and imagination and such a wide range of abilities, it is often difficult to harness that into something they can see and use. Our school serves pre-K through 8th grade students in an high poverty urban setting. My classroom includes both special and regular education students from diverse cultures.
