I teach a group of second grade students in a lower income area. These students come in full of energy and ready to learn daily. At this age I believe it is very important to provide active, hands on learning experiences in the classroom as often as possible. My goal is to provide experiences that they may not always get outside of my classroom and give them the tools and skills to be happy, healthy, and successful students and people throughout their lives.

About my class
