My students come from varied socio-economic areas of our county. My job is to make art class a place where they will learn about diverse cultures, new ways to make art, and about themselves. I take student success seriously and I do everything in my power to make my classroom an exciting place to learn and grow. As a teacher, I strive to be a positive person in the lives of all of my students. Some of my students find art intimidating. They need the resources to create. They need to feel like there is enough to make mistakes. Funding this project would give my students the opportunity to paint large projects and feel like 'real' artists! I want them to be proud of the art legacy they leave behind as they move on to high school
