Our school is like a big family. The principal and vice-principals are like the grandparents, the teachers are like parents, and the students are our children. Our mascot is the eagle, and our school motto is "Eagles SoaRRR: We are Responsible, Respectful and Ready." We are a very diverse elementary school. The majority of our students are general education students, but we also have many unique students in our school who are children with special needs and children with autism. Everyone in the building treats each other with respect and kindness. My students are very eager to learn, and despite the fact that the majority of them live in low income households and receive free breakfast and lunch, they have wonderful attitudes and very high hopes and dreams for the future.
