These heart rate monitors that will allow students to monitor their heart rate and exercise in physical education at their appropriate fitness level. These heart rate monitors will teach students what their target heart rate zone is and where they want to maintain their heart rate during activity. Having access to every student’s heart rate during a run or activity takes out the guesswork for teachers and students. How fast they run is no longer important as long as their heart shows they are working hard! I believe this will not only encourage students to work out to meet their personal goals and target heart rate zone but I believe it will show students that effort is more important than having the best time or being the best athlete in the class.
