Fidgets, a weighted blanket/vest, and swing will help my students anxiety, ADHD, AUT, OCD, or even ADD. These things help my kiddos be able to calm their bodies and do the same work everyone else can, because they just need the extra push of these objects. We all need a break - using a weighted vest/blanket and fidgets to remind our bodies we are in control. My Students need the help of these materials to redirect them back to their work in the General Education setting. Having these materials makes my students successful, no matter their abilities. Focusing is so much easier to do with something in your hand!
