I work with an extremely at risk population of students, 86% are on free or reduced lunch. Sadly, my students are kids who have who have not seen much success in the school setting so far, so I work hard to get them engaged and to inspire them to love learning. Students today are part of our digital world, even my low socio-economic students are hooked by technology. I believe that it is time for the modern classroom to integrate technology and teach students the technology skills they will need to be successful in the world outside the classroom. I envision a classroom where students can integrate technology as part of their learning to supplement the writing skills that they are learning.

About my class
