I have an amazing group (23 students) of 8 and 9 year old students. Our school is mid to high poverty level but filled with tremendously caring adults that would do anything for their students. My students are intelligent and have found the joy in reading. However, they need more experiences with different types of reading that allow them to explore the world. Readers Workshop and a wide variety of books will help do that for them!

About my class
