My students love to learn. Many come to kindergarten with very little exposure to technology from home and their excitement about it is a highly motivating factor. Including this technology into our daily routine will ensure that all students, regardless of home situation or previous experiences, will have increased opportunity to succeed. These Samsung Tablets will help motivate the students, but they will also allow me to expose them to some of the newest approaches to teaching and learning. The students will be able to use the tablets to play a variety of games that teach reading and math skills. The tablets will also provide students an opportunity to immerse themselves in literature as they can listen to and follow along with stories as they are read to them. The class will be able to utilize these tablets during guided reading groups, remediation activities, and enrichment projects.
