My students are Deaf and hard of hearing, ranging in ages from 3 to 21 years old. I travel all over the district, so receiving the best technology is not always readily available. My students are active and so curious about the world around them. However, due to their deafness, many are delayed in not only academia, but in oral language communication. I must constantly work with my students to bridge the gap between them, their typical hearing peers, and their general education teachers. However, this requires a lot of hand over hand instruction and one to one correspondence. ANYTHING you donate will help better equip my students and help meet their educational needs.
