Most of my students do not have have sizable and varied book collections at home. Their sources of new books which were school libraries and community libraries are closed indefinitely. They would be so excited to receive brand new books about characters they love. They would devour the illustrations, persevere in reading the stories, and share new literary experiences with their whole families. I Can Read books are perfect for kindergartners and first graders to practice decoding, sight word recognition, comprehension, and have book discussions with their families. These books would be like windows and doors opening up for my students with fresh & exciting opportunities to read & learn. Please help me offer my students new I Can Read books for summer reading. They are well priced & easy to order through Amazon. Books are the perfect gifts that keep on giving for my students that are starving for fresh reading material without access to libraries!
