Our classroom has five Special Education students with a range of needs. That being said, we also have a few gifted students. Our school is a Title I funded school in a generally low income area. We have a truly diverse group of students in our classroom. Our school has previously struggled with student and staff morale, discipline issues, and parent involvement. We tend to not get very many donations or new things for our classroom. This year we embarked on the Leader in Me journey. This is turning our school around. The students, staff, and parents are becoming more involved in our school. Now I am doing my part!
