Providing an environment where students are comfortable and feel safe makes learning easier for all students alike. This project will allow my upcoming students to have a variety of seating options that allows them to be successful. Our students are energetic and eager to learn. Flexible seating options allow students to move while they learn, which aids in keeping students on task. Being able to choose between the carpet, wobble cushions, disc chairs, and stretch bands for chair legs allows all students to have access to flexible seating and to determine what works best for them! Giving students the ability to make a choice is so incredibly important. In addition to flexible seating, my project includes behavior management aids and STEM activities. The behavior management aids included in this project will ensure students are engaged and on task while learning. STEM activities and games will be a great addition to many lessons to ensure engagement and fun lessons! All of these items will make such a huge difference for my students learning experience. Fun activities including STEM activities and games with flexible seating options will be a true game changer for all students.
