I have just moved from the high school to the middle school to teach 8th grade. The age of my students have changed, but the backgrounds and needs are the same. Most of my students either live on a farm, or know someone who does. Do not let that fool you; my students are on the cutting edge of technology. They could teach high level classes on how to get the most from your cell phone. Our resources are limited, but my students and I find a way to teach and learn using technology hand in hand with traditional learning strategies.
