Have you ever read a book to a child that inspired them to learn more, only to find out the book they need isn’t available? I have, and I don't want that to happen again! I teach 2nd grade students who are eager to learn. They know words have meaning and power. As they learn to read, they find words they want to know more about. They want to use new words when they speak and write, as well as understand important words as they read.
