I am requesting an interactive whiteboard system because I need to bring learning into the 21st century for my students. They need to be able to engage with the content I am presenting and work collaboratively to solve real-world problems. Engaging presentations and instruction will make learning more fun and interesting. I have worked with interactive whiteboards before so I have lived the ability to make learning come alive for my students. Typically interactive whiteboards are in middle and high schools, and I passionately believe that our younger students deserve the chance to learn in a way that will speak to them as well. With an interactive whiteboard they will be able to see examples, build models, manipulate variables, and all in a way that will build teamwork and collaboration.
