I'm a first grade teacher in a school with a high poverty level. The majority of my students come from second-language homes without a lot of literacy skills. School is often the only place that they have academic exposure, due to busy work schedules and a lack of parental help. However, they are bright and excited to learn and I can't wait to open their eyes and imaginations to the joy of reading! I adore all of my little learners!! Will you support them in their quest to read?
