My goal is for all students to have everything they need to learn effectively every day. A majority of the students in my classroom have sensory needs that may not be satisfied on a daily basis. This can lead to disruptions and negative school behaviors that cause them to struggle in their learning. To help my students be more successful throughout their school day, I would love to supply them with all of the sensory tools they need, and this is why I think Bouncy Bands would be the perfect tool for them! I purchased four sets of Bouncy Bands recently and loaned two of them to one of the general education teachers in my building for a couple of her students with special needs. I kept two of the Bouncy Bands in my classroom. Since then, I have heard from every student that uses them that they feel it is easier to concentrate and focus on the lesson. Because we only have two in my classroom, my students that may need the bands to focus and learn may not be able to use it for every group they come to. My goal is for every general education classroom in 3rd grade to have two pairs for their students, and have every chair in my classroom set up with Bouncy Bands! I believe it would be a huge help to all of my students!
