My students are great kids that come to school on a daily basis with what materials can be supplied to them. Many of these students come from single family homes and spend their nights caring for younger siblings while trying to complete their homework. They are always in need of new educational supplies and truly appreciate anything that we can supply them with. Donations of materials, books and resources that are made to my students are put right to good use. This project will help because it will make learning fun. Approximately 30 students will have access to these materials. They will truly make a difference because they will give my students something fun and new to use in the classroom. The multi colored boxes will not only brighten up the classroom but allow each child their own personal space to keep their books during independent reading time. This will allow the students access to their books and will keep the condition of each book safe and not overcrowded in a desk. The multicolored pocket charts will also allow each student their own personal writing space while saving on paper since their work will be in the protective sleeve for multi use practice. Thank you so much for your generous donation to my students and my classroom. Donations like yours make not only an academic difference in their lives but also a personal one since it gives them something to call their own for the year.
