Many of my students have a difficult time sitting still and focusing in the hard chairs they have now. Due to this lack of focus it is very difficult for them to fully comprehend what they are learning any given day. With stability balls for chairs, my kids will be able to focus longer, while building stronger bodies! Allowing them to have mobility while using the flex seating balls will allow them to engage their bodies and their minds helping them to focus longer. Each of them will be able to have their bodies feel less fatigued, their brains more engaged and their core muscles strengthened. It is a win-win-win! The flex seating balls will also be replacing chairs that are cracked and broken and often pinch my students or pull on their clothes or hair. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The reading bench I have listed in my project would be wonderful for my students to use while at the reading center, which they utilize daily. The bench would be a comfortable and calming reading area for the students during reading center time. It could also be used as storage for leveled books as well as books the students enjoy reading. My students are in need of a comfortable and safe learning space that supports all of their learning needs. These supplies would support me in creating that environment for them.
