I am fortunate to teach in classroom full of inquisitive 3rd grade students! They come from all walks of life, including countries outside of the US. There is also a broad range of economic backgrounds within my classroom, some who receive free or reduced lunch, as well as breakfast, and some who have transitional home lives and have attended many different schools prior to landing in my 3rd grade classroom. I also serve many middle and upper income families and typically have strong support from parent volunteers. I teach at a STEM school which serves over 700 students from preschool to 5th grade. There are five 3rd grade classes at my school, and due to the large student population, resources can often be stretched thin. Please check out my recent project and see how you can contribute to the education of a well deserving bunch of kids who love to learn!
