My class has 20 students who are at very different levels of reading. Many of them live in nearby public housing and don't have the opportunity to use technology at home because their parents cannot afford it. Our school, though in the more disadvantaged part of town, is trying hard to keep up with technology though we have little money. Technology draws our students into learning that they might not be excited about otherwise. Having an iPad available will allow me to differentiate instruction for all my students. We have minimal use of technology in our classroom. Our computer lab is used by all students in the school, so our time there is very limited.
