Coming from a classroom with little technology, these tablets will help enhance student learning. We have daily centers and I would love to use these tablets to enhance their center time. We could access several resources to enhance their reading, spelling, math, science, and history. We were taught about augmented reality that would allow students to tour historical places virtually and make it feel as though they are walking around in that place. Resources like this interest students which results in them being more engaged and really absorbing the information they are learning. These will also allow me to show students how they can learn at home using a piece of technology they already love, enjoy, and are familiar with. Tablets would open up a variety of opportunities for our class that we would love to access and explore.
