I am starting the use of recorder with my 4th grade music students. These recorders will be classroom sets. That means that MANY children will get to use them throughout the years to come. I have collected a few already, but these will help me reach the number I need to begin teaching this to my current 4th grade music classes. They will have the opportunity to learn their first instrument as a group. Students will have the opportunity to practice and develop on their own as well as playing as an ensemble in class. Each student will have their own for the school year, which means no sharing for sake of germs! I will be able to personally clean and sanitize them periodically through the year.
